With the release of Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x64 Editions and IBM X3 Technology, there is a new solution for users with advanced IT and software development needs.

This seminar was organized by Chass Computer Consultants for customers who are curious about the 64-bit extensions. This event benefited mainly existing users of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and SQL 7.0 as these users have the option of just using the EM64T Xeon Servers instead of Itanium Servers which costs much more when new Microsoft SQL 2005 or codename Yukon is being released later this year.

Track 1 :   An intro to Windows 64-Bit Client & Server Editions

This first topic introduces Microsoft’s new 64-bit Windows x64 Edition operating system family, Li San explained the differences between x86 and x64 hardware and 32-bit and 64-bit software architecture. The audience also learn about extensive additional resources that provide in-depth information about the x64 platform and the Windows family of 64-bit operating systems.

Track 2 :  A mission critical value of SQL 2000 SP4 and Yukon
Speaker: Darmadi Komo, Microsoft Technical Specialist

By leveraging on the new x64-bit Server OS and EM64T chipsets, learn how you can make full use of your SQL server 2000 with the release of Service Pack 4. See what SQL 2000 64-bit can offer you & a sneak preview to Yukon.
Track 3 :  The IBM X3 - A unique value proposition in your
                  corporate IT Infrastructure
