Public cloud service (Azure) – A public cloud is one based on the standard cloud computing model, in which a service provider makes resources, such as virtual machines (VMs), applications or storage, available to the general public over the internet. Public cloud services may be free or offered on a pay-per-use model.
Hybrid cloud – a cloud computing environment which uses a mix of on-premise, private cloud and third-party public cloud services with orchestration between the two platforms. By allowing workloads to move between private and public clouds as computing needs and costs change, hybrid cloud gives businesses greater flexibility and more data deployment options.

Customize network by mapping virtual network between the primary and recovery sites, and test disaster recovery plan whenever one wants without disrupting the services at the primary location. The environment can be protected by automating the replication of the virtual machine based on policies that is set and control. The recovery as a service protects Hyper-V, VMware and physical servers, while Azure or the secondary data center as a recovery site. Site recovery coordinates and manages the ongoing replication of data by integrating with existing technologies including System Center and SQL Server AlwaysOn.
